Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Born in Stavanger on June 15, 1996. She is professionally referred to as Aurora. The name of her can also be stylized as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released through the label Decca Records in May 2015 receiving great approval from bloggers as well as the media. Half the World Away - by the Oasis to accompany John Lewis' Christmas ad and Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole have already been two covers worth noting that the singer has created. Katy Perry, who endorsed the tune Runaway with her voice, gave the song a boost of recognition. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was discovering a piano in her loft, and becoming intrigued by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes urged Aurora to pursue music not to get an income or as a pastime and as a way to grow. As a result, she began to write her own music. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her favorite composers. She decided to start performing her songs publicly when her mom suggested they could help people not gain acclaim for her work, but instead help people see around them realize their own importance and how they impact the world. She was suggested by her mother to be able to perform her music publicly in order to help people realize their own importance and how they could impact the world. It wasn't until her 14th birthday when she shared her story with her parents. Aurora's fame was not the goal of her. Her only passion is writing music. She believes that music is the best way to feel anything.
